May: Vincent Price Month–Day Eight

Today’s post is a few pictures of Vincent from 1990. In these photos, he is recording for Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris. It is said that he had trouble reading the French version of the script, so they had to work on it for a few hours. Although he appeared to be pretty weak at this point, he did the English version in just two takes. Unfortunately, they ended up not even using Vincent’s recordings, instead opting to use a French actor. Come on, Vincent was the perfect person to do the voice for something called Phantom Manor! However, they did use the recording of his famous laugh and it is supposedly still in use at Disneyland Paris to this day, which I think is pretty fantastic. Yet another reason to visit Paris someday!
